Photoelectric curtain wall, integrating the functions of power generation, sound insulation, heat insulation and decoration,is a new functional curtain wall which combines the photoelectric technology and curtain wall technology.

It represents a new direction of the development of curtain wall technology. With the solar photovoltaic cells and semiconductor material,the photoelectric curtain wall collects, converts, accumulates and voltage-transforms the natural light and finally links to the building’s power supply network. In this way, it provides reliable power support for the building.


 

Main Features of Photoelectric Curtain Wall:

It has the function of transforming luminous energy into electric energy, and is applied to skylight, roofing and horizontal sun-shading decoration panel of the building as per the lighting needs. The key component to realize photoelectric transformation is the PV module.

At present, office buildings of seven ministries and commissions of China’s state organs, Wuxi Airport Terminal in Jiangsu, and International Conventions Execution Center Building of State Environmental Protection Administration, which are constructed by Min-aluminum, have all adopted photovoltaic power system, and achieved a remarkable energy saving effect.

The basic unit of photoelectric curtain wall is PV module which is a battery array composed of several photovoltaic batteries in series and parallel combination. PV module is installed in the corresponding structure of the curtain wall and then forms the photovoltaic power system.
